Hi, I’m Nick.

The Cuddle Couch™ wasn’t created in a boardroom or by a furniture company looking for the next big thing. It started in my son's bedroom, right before bedtime.

Like a lot of 90s kids, I grew up seeing those little flip-out couches everywhere. Friends had them. Cousins had them. They were perfect for movie nights, reading books and building cubbies. For whatever reason, I never had one myself. So when I saw one in the shops, I immediately bought it for my little boy. He loved it.

One night, while we were doing our usual bedtime routine, he asked me to lie down with him on his little couch while we read a book together. I tried, but there simply wasn’t enough room. It got me thinking: surely somebody makes a full-size version of these things?

I searched everywhere.

What I found were couch beds, bulky furniture and products that didn’t quite capture what made those little flip-out couches so special in the first place. The back that gave out if you leaned on it too much. The blanket spread out in front of the TV for morning cartoons. All the little things that made them great.

So I decided to build one.

What started as a simple idea quickly became a huge part of our home. From working out the measurements so the whole family could fit, to choosing the fabric and finding a supplier who understood the vision, it slowly came together better than we ever imagined.

These days, it’s rare to walk into our living room and not find the boys climbing over it, jumping on it, reading on it, building forts with it, hiding underneath the fold-out section, or falling asleep on it after a big day. If we say “Cuddle Couch”, it’s met with excited screams and a race to see who can get there first.

That’s when I knew this wasn’t just another piece of furniture.

It’s where core memories are made. Where families slow down and spend time together. Where childhood lives on for both the young and the young at heart.

The Cuddle Couch™ is our attempt to bring a little more snuggle into modern family life. A place to slow down, cuddle up, and spend time with the people who matter most.

We’ve obsessed over the details, using premium materials, quality foam, and countless hours of testing in our own home to create something we’re genuinely proud to put our name on.
